Volunteers are the heart of our donkey rescue and adoption program. Every clean stall, every gentle brush stroke, and every quiet moment of trust built between a human and a donkey happens because someone chose to give their time and their heart.

Many of the donkeys who arrive here have known neglect, abandonment, or hardship. Healing doesn’t happen overnight. It takes patience. It takes consistency. It takes kindness. That’s where our volunteers make all the difference.
a commitment that matters
Because trust is built through familiarity and routine, we ask volunteers to commit to regular visits — whether weekly or a few times a month. In return, you become part of a close-knit team that shows up for the donkeys and for one another.
And yes…you’ll get just as much love back as you give (we promise).

no experience required
Although equine experience is helpful, it is not required. If you bring a willingness to learn and a compassionate heart, we will provide training and guidance every step of the way.
